Former Euro-Med Worker and Public Admirer of Hamas Reportedly Eliminated by Israel
Khalil Al-Tatari, a former worker at the Hamas-linked Euro-Med, was reportedly eliminated by Israel. A Jewish Onliner investigation found his Facebook is filled with praise for Hamas and terrorism
Khalil Al-Tatari, a former worker in the support services of the Geneva-based NGO, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, was reportedly eliminated by Israel, according to a post from Ramy Abdu, the organization’s chairman. The circumstances of Tatari’s death were not provided.
Tatari’s long history of publicly expressing support for Hamas and other designated terrorist groups on his personal Facebook account is indicative of a broader pattern within Euro-Med. Under the leadership of Abdu—who was sanctioned by Israel in 2013 for alleged ties to Hamas—the organization appears to tolerate, if not endorse, staff members openly aligned with designated terrorist groups.
Social Media Praise for Armed Terrorists
An investigation by Jewish Onliner uncovered that Tatari’s social media is filled with tributes to members of terrorist groups. Notably, in 2022, he posted a eulogy for Ibrahim Al-Nablusi, a commander in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a group designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. government. Al-Nablusi was known for orchestrating multiple attacks against Israeli civilians before he was eliminated by Israeli forces.
Tatari’s caption read: “May you be granted mercy and the highest place in Paradise, by God’s will.”

A 2021 post by Tatari features what appears to be a piece of artwork glorifying the six Palestinian terrorists who escaped from Israel’s Gilboa prison that year. Several of the escapees were serving life sentences for capital crimes.
Five of them were reportedly members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization. The sixth, Zakaria Zubeidi, is a former commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. Zubeidi played a central role in numerous attacks against Israeli civilians during the Second Intifada and was recently released in a prisoner exchange for Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Social Media Praise for Hamas
Tatari's Facebook history also includes repeated expressions of support for Hamas and its military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades. One 2017 post reads: “By God, the One and Only, Hamas did not fall short — it sacrificed, gave, and made concessions for the sake of the struggling people. In return, the other side must step up without stalling.”
In 2018, he made a post featuring a statement from Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, declaring: “We are seriously considering, alongside other factions, expanding the circle of fire… Nearly a million Zionists will be within the range of our rockets. There is no victor except God.”
A 2018 post from Tatari appears to provide instructions to rioters involved in the Hamas-led “March of Return” campaign, which encouraged Gazans to approach the Israeli border and engage in violent clashes with the IDF. His guidance included calls to ignite tires and roll them toward Israel, creating smoke screens as a form of “protest” directed at the Israeli side, also aimed at obscuring the IDF’s ability to observe the riots clearly.
Additional posts feature imagery of armed Hamas fighters and further endorsements of armed terrorists.

Spinning Sympathy Terror into Victimhood
As Israel intensifies its military operations in Gaza, it’s no surprise that social media figures like Ramy Abdu—who has documented ties to Hamas—attempt to recast individuals who express support for or have sympathies toward designated terror groups as innocent victims. Posts like Tatari’s are part of a broader effort to manipulate public perception and blur the line between militant and bystander.
Given the recent Swiss law banning Hamas and related groups that took effect on May 15, it is notable that a Geneva-based organization once had a worker in its support services who openly expressed support for Hamas militants. This development puts further scrutiny on the activities and affiliations of Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.
