Israeli Foreign Ministry Corroborates Jewish Onliner Exposé on Gaza Flotilla
Jewish Onliner published details about the "Global Sumud Flotilla" on August 6 linking members of its Steering Committee to Hamas. Yesterday, Israel confirmed Hamas' involvement in the campaign.

Nearly two months after Jewish Onliner first exposed the terror ties behind the Global Sumud Flotilla, Israel’s Foreign Ministry has released captured Hamas documents that essentially corroborate the investigative findings published on August 6, 2025. The official confirmation adds significant weight to the earlier revelations about the flotilla’s connections to designated terrorist organizations. Israel’s Diaspora Ministry also validated these findings in mid-September.
Early Warning: Jewish Onliner Sounds the Alarm
On August 6, 2025, while mainstream media largely presented the Global Sumud Flotilla as a humanitarian peace mission, Jewish Onliner published an in-depth investigation titled “Unmasking the Terror Ties Behind” the upcoming flotilla. The investigation revealed that several steering committee members had direct connections to Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
The investigation specifically identified key figures with terrorist connections, including:
Muhammad Nadir Al-Nuri, a steering committee member who had funded Hamas-linked projects in Gaza, including a Directorate building for the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Social Development. Jewish Onliner revealed photographic evidence of Al-Nuri alongside Ghazi Hamad, a senior Hamas politburo member.
Wael Nawar, another steering committee member, was documented meeting with Hamas officials including Youssef Hamdan (Hamas representative in Algeria) and Ahmed Abd al-Hadi (Hamas representative in Lebanon), as well as PIJ leader Ihsan Attaya.
Saif Abukeshek was identified as serving on organizations that “operate as Hamas front organizations,” including the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad.
Israeli MFA Documents Validate the Findings
On September 30, 2025, Israel’s Foreign Ministry released documents allegedly captured in Gaza that directly corroborate Jewish Onliner’s investigative work. The official documents revealed:
Direct Hamas involvement through the Palestinian Conference for Palestinians (PCPA), which Israel designated as a terror organization in 2021
Zaher Birawi, identified as PCPA head in the UK and a key flotilla organizer with 15 years of experience organizing Gaza flotillas
Saif Abu Kashk (the same individual Jewish Onliner identified as “Saif Abukeshek”), confirmed as both a PCPA member and CEO of Cyber Neptune, which Israel claims owns dozens of flotilla ships
The Israeli documents included a 2021 letter from former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh explicitly endorsing the PCPA organization.

From Investigation to Official Confirmation
Where Jewish Onliner used publicly available sources to trace connections between flotilla leaders and terrorist organizations, the Israeli documents provide internal Hamas communications that confirm these relationships from the terrorist organization’s own records.
The confirmation is particularly significant regarding Saif Abukeshek/Abu Kashk, whom Jewish Onliner identified as connected to Hamas front organizations. The Israeli documents not only validate this connection but reveal that his company allegedly owns dozens of the flotilla vessels, suggesting a level of operational control that goes far beyond mere ideological sympathy.
Open-Source Investigations Vindicated
The Israeli MFA’s document release represents a significant vindication of the role of open source investigations in exposing security threats. While government intelligence agencies have access to classified materials, Jewish Onliner’s open-source investigation demonstrated that careful analysis of publicly available information could reveal the same underlying connections that would later be confirmed through captured terrorist documents.
The two-month gap between Jewish Onliner’s warning and the official confirmation also raises questions about the international community’s response to the flotilla. Despite the early warning about terrorist connections, the flotilla proceeded with support from activists and organizations worldwide, highlighting the challenges of countering operations that successfully present themselves as humanitarian missions.
As the flotilla approaches Gaza waters, the convergence of independent investigative findings and official intelligence documents provides a compelling case that this “peace mission” represents something far more troubling than its organizers claim.
