Alleged Hamas Front Group Calls to Prosecute President Trump
The Geneva-based Euro-Med, led by individuals sanctioned by Israel as Hamas operatives, is among the most vocal critics of the U.S. and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor (Euro-Med), whose leaders have been designated by Israeli authorities as Hamas operatives in Europe, has intensified the campaign against humanitarian aid in Gaza by calling for the criminal prosecution of U.S. President Donald Trump and demanding the shutdown of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
These moves have raised concerns about the weaponization of international legal mechanisms by groups with alleged terrorist affiliations to undermine legitimate relief efforts. Despite these pressures, GHF has delivered over 70 million meals in Gaza while facing disinformation campaigns, targeted threats, and the deaths of its workers, at the hands of Hamas.
What Is Euro-Med Monitor?
Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor presents itself as an independent Geneva-based NGO, but critics argue it is anything but neutral. The organization’s leadership has been repeatedly linked to Hamas, with former and current chairmen named by Israel as “main operatives” for Hamas-affiliated institutions in Europe.
Euro-Med’s public statements frequently echo Hamas talking points and have included extreme accusations such as organ theft, genocide, and even “vaporizing” Palestinians—claims that have been widely dismissed by independent experts as lacking credible evidence.

Euro-Med Leaders Designated as Hamas Operatives
The credibility of Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor's accusations is undermined by Israeli government designations of the organization's current and former leadership as Hamas operatives. Ramy Abdu, Euro-Med's founder and chairman, appeared on a 2013 list published by Israel identifying Hamas's "main operatives and institutions" in Europe.
Mazen Kahel, who served as Euro-Med's chairman from 2015 to 2019, also appeared on the same 2013 Israeli list of Hamas operatives in Europe. Both Abdu and Kahel were photographed in 2011 posing alongside Hamas political bureau leader and Ismail Haniyeh, demonstrating their direct access to the terrorist organization's top leadership
The Alnaouq Family's Hamas Connections
Beyond the organization's leadership ties, Ahmed Alnaouq, the current Outreach and Advocacy Officer for Euro-Med, has deep family connections to Hamas. The Jewish Onliner previously reported that Alnaouq's brother, Ayman Alnaouq, was a Hamas terrorist who joined the terrorist organization in 2006 and became a member of its military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, before being killed by Israeli forces in 2014. Another brother, Muhammad Alnaouq, worked in Hamas's Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs and posted social media content celebrating the October 7 massacre.
Despite these connections, Ahmed Alnaouq has been positioned as a "human rights advocate" in Western media and now leads international legal efforts targeting U.S. humanitarian operations. Social media investigations revealed that Alnaouq has used platforms to spread antisemitic narratives, make Holocaust comparisons between Israel and Nazi Germany, and call for the eradication of Zionism.

The Real Threats: Hamas' War Against Aid Workers
Contrary to Euro-Med's narrative portraying the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation as an oppressive force, documented evidence reveals that Hamas has systematically targeted the organization's operations and personnel. In June 2025, Hamas terrorists ambushed a GHF bus carrying aid workers, killing at least eight Palestinian staff members and potentially taking others hostage. Additionally, on July 5th, two American staff members, both veterans of the U.S. military were reportedly injured when Hamas terrorists threw grenades at them.
These deadly attack followed Hamas's public declarations on Telegram platforms openly planning attacks on American aid distribution centers. The terrorist organization made clear that any group or individual collaborating with or receiving aid from the U.S. or Israel would be considered a legitimate target.
Hamas's Deliberate Starvation Strategy
Hamas leadership has openly acknowledged its strategy of preventing humanitarian aid from reaching Palestinian civilians. Osama Hamdan, a senior political leader of Hamas based in Lebanon, publicly declared: "We expect our great people to thwart the method of receiving aid today, just as they thwarted it yesterday. We trust that our people will endure hunger and not extend their hands to the occupier asking for aid."
Gazan residents have testified about Hamas's direct interference in aid distribution. One eyewitness told Israeli Defense Forces officers: "The people who fired were Hamas terrorists. They don't want the people to receive aid; they want to foil the plan so that the aid will go to them, allowing them to steal it. They've gone completely bankrupt."

Breaking Hamas Monopoly: GHF's Transformative Impact
Supporters note that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's success in delivering more than 70 million meals since May 2025 threatens Hamas' strategy of stealing and reselling international aid. For years, they argue, Hamas has systematically intercepted humanitarian supplies, selling them in local markets as a primary revenue source while keeping Palestinian civilians dependent and impoverished.
GHF's direct distribution system has disrupted this criminal enterprise by providing free aid directly to families, fundamentally altering Gaza's aid economy. GHF Executive Director John Acree explained that their operation "is going against [Hamas] system of stealing foreign aid, of controlling the market prices, of basically robbing the Palestinians that live in Gaza of their livelihoods and their economic welfare, and we're breaking that."
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has vigorously defended GHF against disinformation campaigns, stating: "Drone video and first-hand accounts clearly showed that there were no injuries, no fatalities, no shooting, no chaos. It is Hamas that continues to terrorize and intimidate those who seek food aid." He condemned media outlets for spreading "misleading, exaggerated, and utterly fabricated stories" sourced from Hamas. GHF has delivered over 72 million meals to date.
The State Department has provided $30 million in funding, with officials confirming their support for "the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, and its critical work." This support comes despite facing what GHF Executive Director Johnnie Moore describes as coordinated "disinformation campaigns" designed to "shut down our efforts" in providing life-saving assistance to Palestinian civilians who had been systematically exploited by Hamas's aid theft operations.
I understand the pro Israel opinion that the American /Israeli aid distribution plan is a good strategy and the Hamas concerns that it reduces their power. So we are about even in public perception. But the Hamas people report over 600 people have been shot collecting aid. Including babies and women. There probably are thousands of drones over these distribution sites. Why are there no videos either confirming or denying these numbers.
Trump isn’t former US president—can you correct this?
