UANI Offers Trump Admin 100-Day Plan to Counter Iran’s Threat
Stop Iran Now—Terror, Nukes, and Tyranny Have Gone Unchecked Long Enough
United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), a bipartisan, non-profit advocacy organization, has laid out a decisive set of recommendations for the incoming Trump administration—a bold, 100-day plan to fundamentally remake and reinvigorate U.S. policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran. With Tehran’s malign influence spreading unchecked, this plan is designed to confront the regime’s destabilizing activities head-on, ensuring that America reclaims its leadership role in countering the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism.
Why Now?
Iran’s regime has manipulated diplomacy, funded terrorists such as the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas, and pursued nuclear escalation with impunity for far too long. Recent revelations only underscore its audacity.
In Azerbaijan, a chilling plan was thwarted by local authorities when Iranian operatives attempted to assassinate a senior Jewish community leader. The operatives, identified as Georgian and Azerbaijani nationals, were recruited by Iranian intelligence, likely orchestrated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). They meticulously gathered information on the target’s residence, workplace, and habits, with the intent to execute their plan for a promised $200,000 reward. This plot follows a history of Iranian-backed terror attempts in Azerbaijan, including thwarted attacks in 2004, 2007, 2012, 2017, and 2022.
In a separate case, Iran targeted an Israeli businessman in the UAE. Operatives posing as representatives from a prominent Persian-language media outlet used Telegram to lure the businessman under false pretenses. The plan was uncovered thanks to his vigilance, but it highlights a broader pattern. Iran is using business deals, academic conferences, and professional co-ops as bait to trap targets. Every moment of inaction provides an opening for their plots to succeed.
UANI’s Diplomatic Recommendations
UANI contends that the Trump administration must utilize diplomacy as a tool for decisive action. UANI’s plan recommends invoking the U.N. Snapback Sanctions Mechanism to reinstate harsh restrictions on Iran. It also emphasizes restricting the movements of Iranian officials at the United Nations, implementing the MAHSA Act to sanction human rights abusers, and forming a coalition to counter the Islamic Republic’s aggression. The MAHSA Act is a critical piece of legislation named in honor of Mahsa Amini, a young woman whose death in the custody of Iran’s morality police sparked global outrage. The MAHSA Act authorizes sanctions on senior Iranian officials, including the supreme leader and entities responsible for human rights abuses and terror activities. These measures are statements to Tehran that its behavior will no longer be tolerated.
Informational and Military Recommendations
UANI’s strategy recognizes that military and informational tools must complement each other. Degrading the IRGC’s repressive apparatus and launching targeted strikes against its key commanders and assets are crucial steps. Simultaneously, running effective psychological operations in the Persian language, exposing regime corruption, and empowering ordinary Iranians with uncensored information will weaken the regime from within. A military defector program should encourage key figures within the regime to abandon Tehran’s oppressive rule.
Economic and Shipping Pressure
Iran’s economy is the backbone of its terror operations. UANI recommends establishing a task force to dismantle networks tied to regime-linked oligarchs and shutting down Iranian banks operating internationally. Designating Iran’s entire “ghost fleet” of ships involved in sanctions evasion and sanctioning shipping networks supporting the IRGC are essential actions. By cutting off Iran’s financial and logistical lifelines, the regime’s ability to spread terror will be severely weakened. A democratization fund, financed with seized Iranian assets, can provide critical support to the Iranian people in their fight for freedom.
The Clock Is Ticking
The UANI 100-day plan offers a comprehensive roadmap to confront Iran’s aggression and reassert America’s strength and leadership. Iran’s global terror network, nuclear ambitions, and human rights abuses demand an uncompromising response. The Trump administration has the tools, the blueprint, and the opportunity to act decisively. The time to dismantle Iran’s threat is now.
