There's a New "Jew List" in Canada
A new publicly available database, currently listing 85 individuals, names Canadians who served in the IDF, including at least one killed during the Hamas-led October 7th massacre

Davide Mastracci, managing editor of The Maple, has compiled a public database containing personal information on Canadian citizens who served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). The database includes Ben Mizrachi, a Canadian citizen murdered by Hamas during the October 7th, 2023, attack at the Supernova music festival. The entry on Mizrachi omits any mention of Hamas, stating only: “Ben Mizrachi, dead at 22, was born and raised in Canada, growing up in Vancouver.”
Mastracci, is a self-described “Aspiring Marxist” who frequently expresses his support for Hamas on social media, which is a Canadian-designated terrorist organization. Mastracci actively encourages public participation in the project, urging individuals to submit tips about other Canadians who have joined the Israeli military.
The website claims it is not accusing the listed individuals of breaking Canadian law or participating in military crimes. However, in the same breath, it claims that: “the Israeli military has been credibly accused by and/or before major international bodies of ethnic cleansing, war crimes, apartheid, and now genocide.” Furthermore, the website challenges the legitimacy of the foundation of the Israeli state, inaccurately stating that it was established “through the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land.”
Mastracci’s Support for Hamas on Social Media
On the day of the October 7th massacre, Mastracci posted on social media: “If you aren’t willing to support the Palestinian resistance when it really matters — when it’s fighting back against the occupier — I don’t trust you, your politics, your supposed care for Palestinians, and certainly not any professed opposition to Israel and Zionism.”

He also criticized Canadian political leaders who condemned Hamas's actions, tweeting: “The leaders of all 4 of Canada’s major federal parties have condemned Palestinian resistance to their occupier. There is really only one Canadian political party when it comes to Palestine, and the only debate it has is whether to watch Palestinians be killed or take part in it.”
Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, he tweeted: “If the Canadian government really cared about fighting the illegal occupation and annexation of land abroad, as it’s now claiming to, it would send weapons to Hamas.”

In one tweet, he criticized those who attempt to separate Hamas from the broader Palestinian cause.
Another notable statement was his declaration: “I would 100% prefer living beside a Hamas-supporting Gazan to an average Israeli, and I think most people around the world would agree.”
Response from Consul General of Israel, Paul Hirshson
Paul Hirschson, Consul General of Israel, condemned the database, stating:
“The idea of compiling lists of Jews, most notoriously done by the Nazis, should be offensive to all believers in modernity, human rights, and democracy, Jew and non-Jew alike.”
He continued,
“But as we’re already in the world of ‘Jew lists,’ it would be appreciated were they to do a better job. There are an estimated 35,000 Israelis living in Canada, myself included. Pretty much all of us have done our national service.”
“It was disappointing to learn these supporters of the Hamas death cult couldn’t come up with more than 85 names. Yesterday I went online and registered to be added to this list. I do hope to be given the recognition I deserve for having participated in defending the State of Israel and standing on the correct side of history.”
“This doesn’t even include the very many Canadians living in Israel who have acquired Israeli citizenship and they too have likely now done their national service.”
A Campaign of Targeted Harassment
Mastracci’s creation of this database is an attempt to intimidate and harass Canadians who served in the Israeli Defense Forces. It follows in the footsteps of the Hind Rajab Foundation, a Belgium-based NGO, run by Hezbollah-linked Dyab Abou Jahjah, with a declared mission to target former Israeli soldiers abroad in lawfare campaigns. Mastracci’s database eerily resembles historical registries used during the Holocaust to identify and persecute Jewish individuals.

The website is inaccessible via Google Chrome and Safari
I looked at this idiot’s X page. He’s a gibbering Jew-hating dirtbag.
The inverse of Betar - Canadian style.
Good for the goose, good for the gander I guess. Certainly no worse than what Betar does.
