Exclusive Report: Three CCP-Linked Nonprofits Radicalizing Americans via NYC Hub
Jewish Onliner reveals how The People’s Forum, BreakThrough News, and 1804 Books operate from the same hub in NYC, share funding sources, and promote pro-China, pro-terror campaigns
An exclusive Jewish Onliner investigation reveals how three radical organizations—The People’s Forum, BreakThrough News, and 1804 Books—operate from the same Manhattan hub at 320 West 37th Street, promoting pro-China and pro-terror campaigns with the aim of radicalizing Americans.

At the center of the network is The People’s Forum (TPF), a 501(c)(3) “movement incubator” that provides political education, cultural programming, and space for activist events, frequently aligning with other far-left and pro-terror groups such as the Palestinian Youth Movement and CODEPINK.
BreakThrough News (BTN), a nonprofit media outlet based at the same address, echoes TPF’s ideology in its reporting, often promoting anti-imperialist, anti-American, anti-Israel, and pro-China narratives. 1804 Books, a not-for-profit bookstore and press also operating at the same address, directly supports TPF’s mission by curating socialist and revolutionary literature, with proceeds funding TPF programs.

The organizations share much more than an address. Their leadership, funding—primarily from Shanghai-based American businessman Neville Roy Singham, who has ties to the Chinese Communist Party—and event programming all overlap. Key figures, including Claudia De la Cruz, Eugene Puryear, and Jodie Evans, play leadership roles across these groups.

Programming and content from these organizations consistently promotes sympathetic views of China, justification for Hamas’ terrorism, and anti-American, anti-Israel rhetoric. The network’s activities suggest intentional efforts to influence public discourse, mobilize anti-Western activism, and directly challenge American interests.
