Anti-Israel Activists Co-Opt "No Kings" Protests Backed by $2.9 Billion Tax-Exempt Network
Anti-Israel groups have embedded themselves into "No Kings" protests against President Trump — operating within a $2.9 billion tax-exempt network that may be violating nonprofit laws
Anti-Israel and socialist groups have embedded themselves into nationwide “No Kings” protests against President Trump, positioning themselves at the forefront of demonstrations on October 18, 2025, despite the recent Israel-Hamas peace deal.
Researchers say the activists operate within a $2.9 billion network of mostly tax-exempt organizations—including some funded by billionaire George Soros—that may be violating nonprofit laws by linking anti-Israel messaging to domestic opposition through partisan political work.
A new database launched by the Pearl Project reveals 265 organizations behind the “No Kings” protests, including 79 charitable 501(c)(3) groups ($750.3 million revenue), 100 social-welfare 501(c)(4) nonprofits ($722.5 million), 24 labor unions ($1.362 billion), and 24 Democratic PACs ($29.19 million). None of the nonprofit entities pay federal taxes despite engaging in explicitly partisan work.

Anti-Israel Groups Organize Nationwide
Organizing for what activists have dubbed the “Palestine Contingent” has emerged in major cities nationwide. New York’s “UAW Labor for Palestine” called for participants demanding an end to arming Israel. Oakland’s “Bay Area Labor 4 Palestine” instructed followers to bring flags and keffiyehs, and Seattle added anti-Israel activist Tariq Ra’ouf to the official speaker lineup.
Among the groups organizing these Palestine Contingent activities is the Party for Socialism and Liberation. Jewish Onliner previously reported that Elias Rodriguez—the suspect in the fatal shooting of two Israeli embassy staffers in May 2025—is allegedly affiliated with PSL. The organization is reportedly financed by Roy Neville Singham, a U.S. billionaire with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Financial Backing From George Soros
George Soros’s foundations have given $7.61 million to Indivisible—the central architect of protest mapping, toolkits, and turnout—since 2017. Indivisible co-founders received a $3 million grant last year from Soros’s Open Society Foundations for social welfare activities while managing protest logistics. Indivisible also received hundreds of thousands from the Tides Foundation and Tides Network, accused of funding anti-Israel campus protests.
Federal Scrutiny Intensifies
President Trump has directed the Justice Department to investigate possible RICO violations. Sen. Chuck Grassley opened an investigation tracking money to anti-Israel groups. Sen. Ted Cruz introduced the STOP FUNDERs Act, enabling conspiracy charges against funders of violent activities.
The network encompasses groups like PSL, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) that promote rhetoric in support of U.S.-designated terror groups and seek to transform America into a socialist state. Critics say the fusion of anti-Israel activism with anti-Trump organizing raises fundamental questions about whether billions in tax-exempt revenue are being weaponized for partisan political goals.
David, I hope that you raise your voice for Israel against your antisemitic leftist friends and antisemitic rightist enemies.
There are many Jewish Americans who are staunchly pro Israel but who staunchly oppose the fascist Christian nationalist anti-science anti-medicine anti-education anti-democracy anti-due process anti-LGBTQ anti-female xenophobic agenda of Trump/MAGA, which has taken over the Republican party, calls anyone who disagrees with it communist or antifa, and which, in the long term, will likely turn against us also.
