Masar Badil, Alleged Proxy for U.S.-Designated Terror Group, Calls for "Global Mobilization" on Quds Day
Jaldia Abubakra, a prominent member of U.S.-designated terror group Samidoun, promotes global "Quds Day" protests set for this Friday on Hezbollah-owned Al-Nour Radio
Jaldia Abubakra, a leading activist in the U.S.-designated terrorist organization Samidoun and a co-founder of its alleged proxy group, Masar Badil, has issued a call for worldwide mobilization on Quds Day, March 28. She urged supporters across Europe, North America, and South America to strengthen a “global popular movement” against Israel.
Abubakra was reportedly interviewed by Al-Nour, a Hezbollah-owned radio station sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury as a terrorist-affiliated entity. She appealed to the global “resistance camp” to rally in support of Gaza and escalate street-level activism. In Canada, authorities have announced that they will implement increased security measures during Quds Day events, and European lawmakers have pressed for a broader crackdown on Masar Badil and Samidoun’s activities.

Canadian Law Enforcement on High Alert
The Toronto Police Service has warned it will maintain a “highly visible” presence during Quds Day events. Superintendent Katherine Stephenson, head of intelligence services, said police will not hesitate to arrest individuals who engage in criminal acts or hate speech. The warning follows past incidents where Samidoun-affiliated organizers were involved in inflammatory rhetoric at public events. Samidoun and Masar Badil also played key roles in promoting demonstrations in Canada and across Europe, during Quds Day in 2023.
EU Officials Push to Ban Samidoun and Its Network
On March 5, 2025, a high-level conference was held in Brussels where European lawmakers and civil society leaders called for a formal ban on Samidoun and Masar Badil. Speakers at the conference warned of the growing influence of radical networks operating under the guise of activism. Spain, in particular, was highlighted as a point of concern.
Angel Mas, president of the advocacy group ACOM, warned that Spain has become a testing ground for radicalization, criticizing the Spanish government’s inaction in curbing the spread of extremist propaganda.
Abubakra’s History of Allegedly Expressing Support for Terrorism
In October 2022, she appeared on Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Mayadeen in an interview alongside PFLP official Khaled Barakat, who is sanctioned by both Canada and the United States. In February 2023, Abubakra issued a statement praising the killing of two Israeli teenagers in Huwwara, describing the act as a “heroic resistance operation.”
