Israel’s Mossad Launches X Account in Farsi, Offering Medical Support and Dialogue to Iranians
Launched yesterday, the account has offered free telemedicine services to Iranians, including cardiologists, diabetes experts, pulmonologists, oncologists, and mental health support

In an eyebrow-raising move, Israel's national intelligence agency, Mossad, appears to have launched an official Farsi-language account on X (formerly Twitter). The newly established account, which has so far published two posts, signals a clear shift in communication strategy, aiming to foster direct dialogue with Iranian citizens following the 12-Day War between the two countries, which ended in a ceasefire earlier this week.
Despite doubts about the account's authenticity, Dr. Beni Sabti, an Iran expert at Israel's leading national security think tank, the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), has attested to the account’s authenticity. However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation from the Israeli government or Mossad as of yet.

Mossad's Opening Message: A Distinction Between People and Regime
The Mossad’s first post features a video message by Menashe Amir, a prominent Israeli broadcaster of Iranian heritage. Amir, speaking in fluent Farsi, expresses deep empathy for the hardships faced by the Iranian people, stating:
“We have no war with the people of Iran. We have never had a war. The peoples of Iran and Israel have always been friends and will remain friends. Our issue is with the regime of Iran.”
He acknowledges the pain and challenges experienced on both sides, emphasizing that Mossad’s goal is not confrontation with the Iranian people, but rather opposition to the regime’s policies.
Amir goes further, stating that Mossad is ready to assist the Iranian public in any way possible, inviting Iranians to share their messages and requests directly in the comments. The video has received 1.5 million views and 1.4 thousand shares in less than 24 hours since its’s initial posting on on June 25th, 2025 at 8:14 am EST.
Second Post: Offering Encrypted High Level Telemedicine Support in Farsi
The second post from the Mossad account provides tangible, practical support. Mossad announced the formation of a team of specialist doctors—including cardiologists, diabetes experts, pulmonologists, infectious disease specialists, oncologists, and professionals for psychological and maternal support—offering free telemedicine consultations to Iranians.

All doctors offering assistance through the Mossad speak Farsi, and communication is available in both Farsi and English. The post encourages secure contact via the WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal apps, and recommends using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) for privacy. Contact numbers in Israel, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic are provided, with service hours tailored to Iran’s local time.
