International Centre for Justice for Palestinians Launches Legal Front Against Israelis
The British nonprofit has launched the "Global 195" coalition aimed at prosecuting Israelis for alleged war crimes. A closer look at the organization reveals several ties to Palestinian terror groups
[UPDATE: This page has been updated with further details regarding the ILCP's registration information in the UK.]
The International Centre for Justice for Palestinians (ICJP), a UK-registered non-profit, recently launched "Global 195," a legal coalition focused on prosecuting Israel and dual-national individuals for alleged war crimes in Gaza.
However, a deeper look into ICJP reveals concerning ties within its leadership. Key figures such as Wadah Khanfar and Mohammad Tayab Ali appear to have links with Hamas, a group designated as a terror organization by the UK. Furthermore, ICJP has set up a legal fund for Ghassan Abu-Sittah, who has publicly praised acts of terrorism and met with officials from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a U.S. and E.U.-designated terrorist group.

ICJP Director Revealed to Be Former Director of Hamas Front Group
ICJP's director, Mohammad Tayab Ali, appears to have previously been the director of the International Legal Coalition for Palestine (ILCP), a now-dissolved UK-based entity. The Israeli Ministry of Defense’s National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing (NBCTF) designated ILCP as a terror proxy for Hamas in 2022, citing its efforts in Europe to mobilize activists, influence legal actions, and raise funds in support of terrorist operations.

The designation by Israel’s Defense Ministry states that ILCP’s company number in the UK was 12740649. This is the same company number of the ILCP upon which Mohammad Tayab Ali served as a director, as detailed on the British government’s Companies House website. Additionally, the now-dissolved UK-based ILCP, where Tayab Ali served as a director, shared the same address as the ILCP listed in the Israeli designation.

Advisory Board Member Wadah Khanfar Allegedly Served as a Hamas Leader in Sudan
One of ICJP’s advisory board members, Wadah Khanfar, has long-standing associations with Islamist groups, including Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, and was allegedly a former Hamas leader in Sudan. Khanfar served as the Director General for Al Jazeera, where his leadership reportedly shifted the network’s editorial stance to favor Islamist narratives.
More recently, he openly endorsed Hamas's October 7 attack on Israel and has maintained close ties with figures such as Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a cleric notorious for endorsing suicide bombings.

ICJP’s Support for Ghassan Abu-Sittah
ICJP was actively involved in legal advocacy for the British surgeon Ghassan Abu-Sittah. Investigative journalist David Collier revealed how Abu-Sittah was photographed alongside PFLP terrorist Leila Khaled and attended the funeral of a PFLP operative, where he delivered a heartfelt speech. He also penned an article praising Ahmed Nasr Jarrar, the terrorist responsible for the murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevach.

Weaponized Lawfare Against Israel
The launch of Global 195 represents a development in international legal warfare against Israel. The associations that members of ICJP’s leadership have with Hamas suggest the group is more focused on promoting the aims of terror organizations than on pursuing genuine legal accountability or justice.
