Canadian Pro-Hamas Nonprofit Urges Arrest of Canadians Who Served in the IDF
Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East has a long history of expressing support for Hamas and Hezbollah

The Canadian anti-Israel organization Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) has once again exposed its support for terrorism and antisemitic agendas. In a Facebook post, CJPME called on the Canadian government to arrest Canadians serving in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), amplifying a lawfare campaign led by Dyab Abou Jahjah, a Hezbollah-linked figure who runs the the Hind Rajab Foundation. Here is a breakdown of CJPME’s history of supporting and whitewashing terror:
Posting Pro-Terror “Factsheets”
CJPME’s so-called “fact sheets” are nothing more than a thin veil for its pro-terror sympathies. On their website, they downplay the atrocities of Hamas, describing it as an “Islamist Palestinian political party with a military wing” while ignoring its designation as a terrorist organization by Canada.

Even more galling, CJPME falsely claims that Hamas Christian respects minority rights in Gaza, despite a well-documented record of brutal persecution of Christians and dissenters. For example, it was confirmed by a Canadian NGO that in 2009 members of Hamas desecrated Christian graves and forced Christians to collaborate with it, intimidating them with threats of rape and reprisals against their families.

Meanwhile, in their “fact-sheet” of Hezbollah they portray it as a “national resistance movement”, conveniently ignoring its status as a terror group responsible for countless acts of violence and destabilization across the region. CJPME further whitewashes Hezbollah by describing it as a group that peacefully interacts with Lebanese civilians and gives “fair treatment to Lebanese collaborators with Israeli occupation forces.”

Championing Convicted Terrorists and Twisting Narratives
CJPME’s “advocacy” extends to supporting individuals convicted of terrorism. They posted a call for Canadian political leaders to demand that Israel release Mohammad El Halabi, who was found guilty of funneling millions of dollars to Hamas for terror purposes, possessing illegal weapons, and undergoing illegal military training.

Similarly, commemorated Mohammed Taleb Atallah, a terrorist killed while attempting to infiltrate an Israeli community with a knife, omitting that Hamas proudly claimed responsibility for his attack.

CJPME is not an advocacy group committed to advancing human rights; instead, they actively support terrorism and target those defending the Jewish state through nefarious lawfare campaigns.
