1. Freedom Flotilla Coalition Webinar
May 5
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, NLG, and CUNY4Palestine will hold the webinar “The Gaza Freedom Flotilla and the Imperative for the Global Community to Act” on May 5 at 5 PM. Speakers include UN Special Rapp. on Food Michael Fakhri; Freedom Flotilla member Huwaida Arraf; and current Freedom Flotilla passenger Ann Wright. This webinar follows an alleged drone attack on the flotilla near Malta last Friday.
2. People’s Tribunal For Palestine
May 12
CUNY pro-Palestinian student groups plan to turn CUNY’s Board of Trustees public hearing on May 12 into a “People’s Tribunal for Palestine” to charge them with “genocide.”
3. Nakba 77 Remembrance March
May 17
The United Liberation Front endorsed PYM’s “Nakba 77 Remembrance March” at the Israeli consulate in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 17 at 2 PM.
4. “We Reject Zionism” Event
Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) will hold an “Intergenerational Nakba Panel” titled “We Reject Zionism” on May 18 at 4 PM at Houston’s Arab American Cultural Center.
