Protests supporting detained Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil will take place across the US on March 27 to coincide with his court hearing in Newark.
2. “Die-In” for Gaza Protest

Harvard University pro-Palestinian groups are organizing a “die-in for Gaza” protest on March 27 at 11:30AM.
3. Rally at NY Times Headquarters

PYM, WAWOG and other anti-Israel groups are organizing a rally in front of The New York Times HQ in NYC on March 27 at 5:30PM for Hossam Shabat, a Hamas member and journalist killed in Gaza earlier this week.

5. University of Toronto Hosts Event on “The Fabrication of Homeland Security”

On April 2 at 11:00AM, University of Toronto is hosting an event titled: “The Fabrication of Homeland Security: Tracing Police Entanglements Across India and Israel/Palestine”, featuring the speaker Rhys Machold. The event focuses on Machold’s book that asserts that homeland security was involved in the “Zionist colonization of Palestine” and efforts to “penetrate India.”

6. CODEPINK Webinar for “Disarming Earth Day”

CODEPINK is hosting a Zoom webinar headlined “Disarming Earth Day: Land, Imperialism, and the Cost of War” on April 3. The flyer features a call to “disarm the USA.”

Meanwhile we see that Israel and Israel universities are far more tolerant of inflammatory free speech than are the U.S. government or American universities, who are now fully intimidated. An Israeli university lecturer (who is Jewish) called the IDF “baby killers” has been reinstated after a brief suspension.
Thousands of university staff across Israel protested the suspension as a violation of academic freedom and freedom of speech.
Apparently Jewish people in Israel are far less pro Ed to being triggered and intimidated by such speech than Americans are.
So the American arrests of people in the country legally who have been far more moderate in their criticism of Israel than this Israeli professor continues as we way too easily surrender our right of free speech.
